What's happening in the world right now?

Just my two cents, I've been tracking recent developments so there's certainly quite a bit to talk about at the moment. Between AI and technology to international events, it seems like another big update appears constantly. Personally, the most interesting part is how quickly AI (see Wiki for background) continues to change the way people work. At the same time, global events seem to have a significant impact on regular people. Another thing I've been thinking about is how completely differently different communities respond the same news. A lot of people consider it a huge opportunity, but others are much more concerned about where things are heading.
