Probably useless to 99% of you, but here goes

Kind of a random one, but I'm guessing there aren't too many people from Belarus on here. Still, figured it couldn't hurt to leave this here.

We've been fixing up an older apartment and the ceiling was one of those jobs that looked pretty simple until we actually started looking into it. Cracks, uneven areas, old finishes — the usual fun stuff.

During the research I found some information on ceiling repairs. It helped us get a better idea of the process and what we'd realistically be able to handle ourselves.

We ended up spending more time on preparation than I originally expected, but in hindsight that was probably the right call.

Anyway, if anyone's curious about the rest of the renovation, I can share more. We DIY'd part of the kitchen, dealt with a bunch of other small jobs ourselves, and learned a few things the hard way along the way.
